International Leadership of Texas
International Leadership of Texas (ILTexas) is a tuition-free public charter school network that serves K-12 students across the Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, College Station, and other regions of Texas.
Its mission is to prepare students for outstanding leadership roles within the international community by emphasizing servant leadership, proficiency in English, Spanish, and Mandarin Chinese, and by fostering the development of mind, body, and character.
At ILTexas, students participate in a globally focused curriculum that integrates three-language proficiency, leadership development, and extensive service-learning projects under the core values of “Others Before Self.”
The network also features one of the largest Marine Corps Junior ROTC (MCJROTC) programs in the nation, promoting discipline and character-building among students.
With a student enrollment exceeding 22,780 and continuing to grow, ILTexas is expanding its facilities—recently breaking ground on a new high school in Liberty County scheduled to open in 2026.
