In the autumn of 2020, Performance finalized a long-term lease agreement with Shining Rock Classical Academy to establish a modern facility spanning 48,850 square feet in Waynesville, NC. This new space has been carefully planned to elevate the educational experience for K-8 students, accommodating an increased capacity from 400 to 650 students to meet the growing demand for quality education within the community.

Completed in July 2021, this cutting-edge facility was acquired by the school in July 2022. Performance offered deferred rent post-construction, and lowered legacy debt by $750,000. This strategic financial approach attracted bond investors, ensuring the school’s financial stability and
future growth.

From development to financing, Performance’s thorough methodology guaranteed the swift expansion and enhancement of Shining Rock Classical Academy’s infrastructure.
