Willie Jeffries School of Excellence

Willie Jeffries School of Excellence (WJSE) is a tuition-free public charter school authorized by the Charter Institute at Erskine. Performance Charter School Development is collaborating with the school to establish a modern, student-centered learning environment that promotes academic achievement and personal development.

The school is planning to serve students in grades K–8. During its inaugural year (2024–2025), WJSE offered grades K–6, with plans to add one grade each year until reaching full K–8 enrollment.

Currently, Phase 2 of construction is in progress, expanding the campus to include additional classrooms and improved learning spaces to support the school’s growth and long-term commitment to excellence.
